Program Vision
Communication
Clothing
- Provide a regular time and meeting place for students to participate in target shooting and to learn from one another
- Educate archers on the safety and fundamental techniques of target shooting
- Create a family atmosphere where each student feels like they belong and are a part of something special at Liberty
- Teach and encourage sportsmanship, character, self-reliance, responsibility, respect, determination, and discipline
- Establish an environment where students are held academically accountable and praised for effort and growth.
- Compete in local tournaments
- Establish, grow, and promote the program within Madison City and beyond
- Members must achieve & maintain an average of 70 (C) in all classes
- Attend practices regularly (twice a week)
- Compete in local tournaments
- Participate positively with the team (including no discipline issues)
- Participate in team fundraising
*Violation of any expectations may lead to probation or possible excusal from the team*
Communication
- All communication will be by email via Coach Kelley
- Check the website for information about practices, tournaments, and fundraising. The website will be the easiest and quickest was to disseminate information.
- During the Archery season, please view emails daily. I send out separate emails for each topic so that no information is missed.
Clothing
- It is recommended for archers to wear an arm guard but it is not a requirement.
- Finger/Hand Guard or Glove is not required but is encouraged.
- All archers need to wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
